Live in Cologne
Shot live in concert at Loft in Cologne on September 16, 2005, this film shows multi-instrumentalist, composer and performer Elliott Sharp in a solo setting performing on his Godin electroacoustic guitar with PowerBook computer running Max/MSP. The performance consists of compositions from The Velocity of Hue and Quadrature CDs and a short Delta blues piece as an encore.
In addition to the complete concert, the film includes segments of an interview shot before the concert, in which Mr. Sharp talks about various subjects including improvisation, algorithmic compositions, instrument building, use of computers etc.
